Solo's

In three solos de Châtel gives more space to the individual personalities of the dancers.

Solo 1: ‘A solo like a smouldering fire, from which fierce, capriciously whirling flames intermittently shot up, performed with style and intensity by Huybregts.’ (NRC Handelsblad) ‘The somewhat fragile, elegant style of this dancer goes well with the Japanese koto music by Keiko Nosaka.’ (Het Financieele Dagblad)

Solo 2: ‘Clown-like, with darting, long-limbed legs and poses in which the body suddenly seemed to be made of loose parts.’ (NRC Handelsblad) ‘The playful flightiness of this loose, free choreography.’ (Het Financieele Dagblad)

Solo 3: ‘Boeye’s groovy, rhythmic performance accentuates the short and fast gestures within the supple stream of movements, giving the choreography an extra dimension that elevates it above the rest.’ (Het Financieele Dagblad) ‘Boeye with the flair and enthusiasm of the new wave (with appropriate music by Warner van Es).’ (Haarlems Dagblad)
