BAM!

Set designer and visual artist Wilma Marijnissen and choreographer Krisztina de Châtel have found each other in their common goal of making unusual sites accessible to audiences. They found a site well suited for this uncommon community arts collaboration, in the middle of the ‘de Binckhorst’, a part of road-construction company BAM Wegen bv’s industrial site, usually far from the public eye.

The result is a collaboration between the employees of BAM Wegen bv and the dancers of Codarts Rotterdam, set against a backdrop of moving cranes and cement mixers.
